Baku are Japanese yokai (demons or spirits) that feed upon the nightmares of humans. It is said by some that if you anger a baku they will regurgitate the bad dreams upon you, plaguing you with nightmares.
These are cast urethane resin figures that are hand painted and sealed. Each one measures about 6 inches across from nose to tail and stands 4 1/2 inches tall. This one glows a very faint purple when charged in direct sunlight for about an hour. This is a one-of-a-kind piece of art and is not a toy intended for children.
